A truly wonderful stay at the Highfield Hotel. Rooms were comfortable, spacious and felt like a home away from home. Lovely mountain views from rooms 15 and 20. Bottled water, tea/coffee tray with biscuits and hairdryer in rooms. Towels, shampoo, soap and shower gel provided in bathroom. I was also able to request an iron/ironing board from reception. The information folder in rooms and free guest wifi were great touches. Delicious breakfast to suit all dietary requirements, both continental and cooked breakfast offered. Special mention to Elouise who greeted us so well and made us feel so welcome and even ensured we got some cake in our rooms as we were out on a tour for the day so missed the coffee and cake afternoon the hotel offers. I'd definitely stay here again.
Beautiful property facing the golf course and lake. Cheerful staff, comfortable bed, excellent Bfast, impressive interiors and on-site parking. Enjoyed my stay in this property.

I can not tell you how unbelievable the views are from room 2. What a find and what a place! Walked past this for years, never again I’ll be heading straight back. Wow so nice
We stayed here for a few nights in September while making our way through the UK. Loved it. Room was a good size, clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself is close to everything in Keswick so the car stayed parked for 3 days. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was made to order - no buffet - it was great.
Only issue that I have with the hotel is the room that we were given. The turret room is very small ( compared to other rooms on the second floor). The bed was also very small. I do not think that this room was worthy of the price tag attributed to it, which was the same price as the other rooms which were far superior.
Lovely and friendly staff made you feel more than welcome. Hotel is very tidy and the rooms are a good size with everything you need. Ideal location only a few minutes walk to town centre and Derwent Water lake. Wide range of choice for breakfast and food was delicious. Would 100% recommend and wiil be returning.
My favourite hotel in the lakes. Awesome view, great food, kind people, relaxing vibe. For some unknown reasons the website is not available now, but would recommend it to everyone if there would be the same people and service would be provided.
